Power supply, communication How to wire the 4-pin cable […]
Power supply, communication
The nominal power supply needs 12V 2.5A or more. If the same power supply is connected to other devices (such as printers) in addition to the power supply to the card reader, the power supply should be selected according to the total power.
Our product mainly adopts the industrial communication RS232C standard, and its signal has TXD, RXD, GND. At present, the three-wire system is mainly used, and a small part of products are 9-line DB9 interface. For details, please refer to the product specification.
Second, testing and maintenance
Open the CTEST 5.0 DEMO or the DEMO program of the corresponding product and conduct functional testing according to the corresponding product operating instructions.
a.Magnetic card test: Open DEMO, click DEMO to enter the card control, select the magnetic card to enter the card, insert a magnetic card from the card slot, and then click the read magnetic card button, and DEMO displays the magnetic card track data.
Third, application development materials
1.What application development reference materials are available under the Window platform?
Basically, communication protocols are provided to customers as interface files for development. In order to facilitate the secondary development of the customers, we also provide DLL development resources on the Window platform, and VC, VB, DEPHI development routines.
Note: The relevant routines are only a single function calling routine and calling instructions.
Most products support the Linux platform and provide drivers and routines, please contact the salesmen for further information.
Fourth, the card machine supports the operation card type
As general, the card reader is divided into a magnetic card that only supports reading the ISO/IEC 7811 standard format, a contact IC card that only supports reading and writing ISO/IEC 7816 or EMV standard formats, and non-contact IC cards that only supports ISO/IEC 14443 protocol or two cards supporting or three cards all supporting. For details, please refer to the instructions of the corresponding products.
For non-contact IC cards, mainly support ISO/IEC14443 protocol cards with 13.56MHz operating frequency, such as Mifare one S50, S70, UL card, Type A/B (T=CL) CPU cards.
Our products don’t support 125KHz ID card operation for the moment.
